Coast Mountain College (CMTN), Terrace campus, invites applications for a part-time Instructor in the Systems and Networking Diploma program as outlined below. Salary will be in accordance with the CUPE Instructor Scale: (range: $5,775.84 - $9,255.50 per section).

Duties: As an instructor, responsibilities will encompass facilitating student academic achievement, including course preparation, teaching, assessing student work, and providing constructive feedback, guidance, support and direction in the following course:


Winter 2026 Semester: January - April


ITAS 191: Introduction to Web Design (1 section)

Qualifications


A minimum of both a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in the subject field or a related discipline along with teaching experience at the post-secondary level. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate experience with experiential teaching formats.


Required attributes/experience includes:

Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based teaching with the ability to inspire and motivate learners Knowledge and enthusiasm for contemporary practices to promote and respect equity, diversity, and inclusion in teaching, learning and professional contexts Demonstrated excellence with intercultural competence, particularly in regards to local Indigenous communities Excellent interpersonal, communication and facilitation skills Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
