About Us:
New Chapter Psychotherapy is a warm and growing group practice in Ottawa, dedicated to helping individuals and couples heal at the root. We value deep, integrative approaches rooted in psychodynamic therapy, attachment theory, and trauma-informed care. We offer clinicians a supportive, ethical, and collaborative environment where client care and therapist well-being come first.
We're currently seeking a Couples Therapist who:
Is passionate about helping couples navigate emotional injuries, attachment wounds, communication challenges, and relational trauma
Has advanced training in couples modalities (e.g. EFT for Couples, Gottman Method, RLT)
Works from a depth-oriented, insight-driven lens and values meaningful therapeutic work
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality psychotherapy to couples (
in-person
and some virtual) Maintain accurate and timely clinical records Participate in occasional team meetings and case consultation (optional but encouraged) Maintain professional liability insurance and appropriate registrationRequirements:
Registered Psychotherapist (RP) or Social Worker in good standing with the CRPO or eOCSWSSW Minimum 2 years of experience working with couples*
Advanced training or certification in at least one couples therapy modality Ability to provide both in-person sessions at our Westboro location
