Job Overview: This permanent opportunity is for a cost accountant. We are a rapidly growing manufacturing company that seeks a hands on accounting professional to fully own all day to day cost accounting functions, including operations analysis, product costing, inventory reporting, and a range of other activities. This position is responsible for analysis and maintenance of the company’s production orders (manufacturing orders), inventory reconciliation of the production inventory staging locations, analyze BOM structure and various sub-project budgets. Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile the production orders (manufacturing orders) to ensure the inputs and outputs are recorded in the system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Internal audit of bill of materials to ensure product costs are accurate
• Maintain quality of ERP data through analysis, internal audit, and in coordination with inventory control, production, and work order scheduler
• Analyze and report on manufacturing operations including equipment availability, variances in use of raw materials, and completion of finished goods
• Calculate costing rates for activities and work centers
• Analyze and report on costs/profitability for each business segment, production facility, and service and product SKU offering
• Complete monthly accounting transactions (journal entries) related to allocation of operations expenses and capitalization.

Your Qualifications:

• Manufacturing experience
• 1-2 years of experience in cost accounting
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Odoo
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or related field
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills
• Advances Microsoft Excel proficiency
