Overview

As the corporate services analyst you will be responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the performance of services delivered by vendors, providers, and other third parties doing business with WorkSafeBC.

You will apply your business analysis and project management skills to continuously improve a wide range of business-critical contracts and service level agreements to ensure effective and efficient delivery of quality services to multiple business areas.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Business Product Management, you will play a critical role in the management of performance metrics, financials, internal and external relationships to ensure optimal business operational delivery.

This is a hybrid position where you will work primarily work from home and occasionally attend our Richmond office.

What you\'ll do

As a Corporate Services Analyst you will:

  • Oversee contractual and service level agreement obligations of vendors, service providers, and other third parties doing business with WorkSafeBC
  • Monitor and develop service and maintenance agreements by working closely with both external providers and internal divisions to improve and enhance business functions
  • Analyze business processes and workflows to develop optimized business plans in support of strategic objectives, adjusting activities as needed to respond to changing conditions
  • Establish partnerships with key business areas to oversee enterprise-wide contracts
  • Actively participate in the financial, relationship, service delivery, and performance management aspects of enterprise-wide contracts
  • Implement tools, methodologies, and practices that allow for a smooth flow of contract management communication, monitoring, and measurement
  • Lead requirement gathering sessions with business areas to ensure continued success of products and services and interpret actionable requirements to multiple teams and product owners using a scaled agile approach

  • Promote a service-oriented approach in providing services to internal customers and works quickly to resolve issues
  • Foster teamwork and collaboration in achieving business objectives and departmental priorities
  • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of organizational business processes and their interdependencies
  • Utilize strong project management skills to manage or provide work direction on multiple projects to project team staff and consultants in terms of leading, scheduling, and monitoring project activities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with various variables including constant change and tight timeframes
Your experience and educational background:
  • A Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree or bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business administration, commerce or a related field
  • At least 6 to 7 years of recent related experience in a business analysis role, with at least 2 recent years implementing projects in a large, complex organization
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset
