Purpose:

Responsible for providing the Corporate Services team with analytical support for the departmental budget, vendor review process, documentation, and reporting. In addition, this role will be responsible for tracking department budget and spend, assisting with events as requested, partnering with the team and vendors to increase service and reduce spending, and assisting the Corporate Services team overall to maintain service levels and increase efficiencies.

Main Responsibilities & Activities

  • Work with the team on the development and progress of the annual budget within their area of accountability for Office Services, Real Estate, The Hub, and Fitness Facility.
  • Facilitating budget planning meetings, tracking department spend, analyzing actuals vs budget / forecast variances.
  • Champion the department vendor review process and work with stakeholders to understand their needs, conduct vendor reviews, identify potential efficiencies, and implement changes as needed.
  • Prepare monthly rental payments for all leased properties.
  • Update monthly recoveries for all subleased properties.
  • Update statement of values for all insured properties.
  • Updating rental letters for all sub tenants.
  • Code and submit Visa statements as required.
  • Code invoices using Open Invoice software.
  • Setup Business Accounts for all vendors
  • Manage, build, and maintain reports and dashboards for the team.
  • Supporting the team with corporate functions.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration or related discipline is required.
  • Previous budgeting experience is required.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Enthusiastic individual with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Team player who enjoys learning and contributing to team goals
