We also manufacture private label diapers and training pants for North American retailers.

The Corporate Reliability Manager will be based out of Dieppe, New Brunswick (100 Midland Drive, E1A 7G9) or Toronto, Ontario (1551 Weston Road, M6M 4Y4) and provides leadership, technical assistance and coordination for all asset reliability systems and improvement efforts across the Division. Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, the Corporate Reliability Manager works closely with the Maintenance and Reliability Teams at the various Irving Tissue Sites to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Maintenance and Reliability programs. This is a permanent, full-time position. The primary language of work is English.

Job Requirements

• BS in an Engineering discipline is preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required
• 5+ years of applicable work experience
• Previous Reliability Engineering and/or Maintenance Leadership experience is required
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on leadership
• Process Improvement experience is a plus with Lean/Six Sigma certification and/or experience desired
• Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office programs and CMMS is required
• JD Edwards CMMS experience is a plus

The main duties/responsibilities of this role include:

• Lead the development and implementation of the Asset Reliability Playbook
• Implement and execute an auditing process for the sites utilizing a \xe2\x80\x9ckey element scoring\xe2\x80\x9d approach based on the playbook
• Work with the site Maintenance and Reliability leaders to assess their current state and develop a plan for their site to improve, based on the results of the auditing process
• Assist in developing and maintaining KPI\xe2\x80\x99s for the Division (both leading and lagging)
• Assist teams across the Division on various efforts regarding Reliability improvement
• Analyze process data to identify areas of opportunity which are consistent across the sites
• Identify \xe2\x80\x9cBest Practices\xe2\x80\x9d regarding systems/procedures/processes at the sites and share across the sites
• Lead projects that are focused on improved systems/procedures/practices for the benefit of all sites (i.e., RCA system, Exploded Bills of Materials, Asset Health, etc.)
• Work with the sites and provide leadership to improve standardization of \xe2\x80\x9cbase data\xe2\x80\x9d (equipment hierarchy, bills of materials, parts identification, etc.)
