Main DutiesReporting to the Director of Operations, this position ensures the integrity and compliance of SIGA\xe2\x80\x99s Casinos by ensuring operations abides by all gaming regulatory standards, financial compliance and mitigates risk through sound internal policies and procedures. This serves to enhance SIGA\xe2\x80\x99s reputation for excellence, and ensures we operate as a business with integrity, in alignment with SIGA\xe2\x80\x99s guiding principle of Tapw\xc3\xaawin.Responsibilities include: Managing and ensuring the integrity of all casino operations, focusing on compliance with internal security controls, regulatory standards, and internal policies. Managing and supervising all cage operations, ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant handling of cash and other financial transactions. Ensuring the casinos adhere to all relevant gaming laws and regulations, including those related to financial transactions and customer identification. Leading a team of professionals to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of operational outputs. Supervising and training cage and integrity staff, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to uphold integrity and compliance standards. Maintaining accurate records and prepare reports on compliance, cage operations, and audit findings. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence. Participating in other projects and activities as required, in support of SIGA\xe2\x80\x99s priorities.Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidates are subject to a background check as well are required to obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)/Indigenous Gaming Regulators (IGR).
  • The minimum age to work in a casino or any area where gaming can be seen is 19 years of age.
  • Must possess valid Saskatchewan Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License and acceptable driving record.
  • Some SIGA locations operate in a high sensory environment. You may be required to work in an environment where you will be exposed to tobacco smoke, high noise levels, flashing and blinking lights, and a congested workplace. SIGA adheres to all occupational health and safety regulations and makes every effort to limit the adverse effects of these elements.
  • As our organization values employee and patron safety, SIGA has instituted a Drug & Alcohol policy for its employees.
  • Compliance with all regulatory requirements as may be applicable to your position including but not limited to both SLGA requirements and the Anti-Money Laundering requirements set out in the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and regulations and policies made thereunder by Canada and FINTRAC.
QualificationsEducation
  • Successful completion of a four-year bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration or Commerce.
  • Certification in compliance or financial management would be considered an asset.
  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) would be considered an asset.
Experience
  • A minimum of 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in casino operations.
  • Experience in managing operations.
  • Knowledge of compliance or integrity management within the gaming industry.
