Job Overview


We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Controller to oversee all accounting operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles, excellent leadership abilities, and proficiency with various accounting software platforms. The Corporate Controller will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of the company.

Duties



Lead the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness. Manage payroll processing, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Conduct account reconciliations and perform detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to streamline financial operations. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity. Coordinate audits with external auditors and prepare necessary documentation. Monitor cash flow, forecast financial trends, and assist in strategic planning initiatives. Supervise accounting staff, providing training and guidance to enhance team performance. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax filings as needed.

Skills



Extensive experience with accounting software including Brightpearl, Sage, Payworks, Excel and other relevant platforms. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in account reconciliation, account analysis, budgeting, and financial forecasting. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills to interpret complex financial data accurately. Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and improve existing processes. Strong communication skills for collaboration across departments and external stakeholders. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
