Responsibilities

As a Corporate Concierge with Hines, you will be a vital member of the Eighth Avenue Place team and will focus on building a strong sense of community by fostering and personalizing tenant relationships that are built on a first name basis. This customer service and brand ambassador role will require the demonstration of the highest level of communication, professionalism, natural enthusiasm, proactive attitude, promptness, and a genuine passion for creating a memorable experience for tenants and visitors. Serve as the administrative support to assigned team members by coordinating, facilitating, recording and communicating their individual, group and company-wide activities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Welcome and greet tenants and visitors with a genuine and unobtrusive demeanor.
  • Engage with all levels of tenant's (executive admin support personnel, company decision makers, general tenant population) in regular conversation as a means of getting to know their specific needs, preferences, and expectations.
  • Respond effectively to the general tenant and senior representative requests for information such as local and global entertainment recommendations, sporting event recommendations, ticket sourcing, hotel and traveling recommendations, restaurant recommendations, promote in-house retail and services, taxi arrangements, etc.
  • Anticipate requests and take the initiative to offer suggestions, solutions.
  • Gaining and maintaining a thorough knowledge of all building services and amenities.
  • Curating and publishing the monthly Concierge newsletter.
  • Proactively stay informed on all our tenants through Google Alerts. Conduct weekly research on our clients and manage client database.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required from an accredited institution, college degree preferred.
  • Three or more years' experience and previous success in a concierge or customer service role, preferably in hospitality or commercial property management industry.
  • A seasoned customer service professional.
  • An active member of Les Clefs d'Or Canada is preferred.
  • Valid first-aid certificate.
  • Outgoing, friendly and customer-service focused.
  • Resourceful team player whose integrity will build strong and trusting relationships with tenants and teammates.
  • Strong self-confidence, positive outlook, takes responsibility.
  • Highly motivated self-starter, "can-do" attitude, high sense of urgency.
  • Able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • A confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Effective questioning and listening skills.
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications.
