Additionally, the role includes responsibilities related to the firm\'s property accounting, making up 20% of the job scope. The successful candidate will demonstrate robust analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a dynamic setting.Roles and Responsibilities

• Corporate Accounting (80%):

• Manage comprehensive accounting functions including ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and analysis for corporate operations.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate closely with the finance team to prepare detailed consolidated financial statements.
• Oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and management of corporate finances.
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, coordinating audits and regulatory reporting as required.
• Property Accounting (20%):

• Assist with financial management of real estate properties, including accounts payable and receivable specific to property operations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and financial postings related to property management.
• Support the property management team with financial insights and reporting.

Requirement

• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detailed-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Strong communication skills, capable of working collaboratively across departments.
• Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements.

• Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software.
• Experience with complex inter-company transactions and chargebacks.
• Background in both corporate and property accounting, with a stronger emphasis on corporate roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation is strongly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles and standards, with a focus on corporate finance.
