Reporting to the Assistant Corporate Controller, the ideal candidate is a fast learner, self-motivated, possesses strong organizational skills, is extremely attentive to detail and has experience leading a team. The working environment is dynamic, and daily tasks include a variety of accounting duties. If you\'re interested in the opportunity to expand your skills by working with the Accounting team of a growing technology company, this may be the position for you.What you\'ll be responsible for:

• Supporting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing which includes:

• Posting journal entries and preparing reconciliations
• Managing and reviewing departmental/regional allocations
• Review of the monthly finance report, cash flow and other analysis
• Detailed review of the supports prepared by the Corporate Accountants
• Supporting the Assistant Controller in the monthly reviews
• Participating in the management of the internal monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting process, external quarterly reviews, and annual financials statement audit
• Assisting with external audits (at the consolidated and local level) as required, by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and assistance in addressing audit findings
• Performing and reviewing internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX
• Leading in the implementation of new processes and improving current ones
• Creating new analysis to better understand the financial results
• Collaboration with FP&A to understand, align and improve the budget
• Ad-hoc projects

What you\'ll bring to the team:

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position or audit
• CPA or in process of obtaining a CPA designation
• B.Comm in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently
• Sense of collaboration and teamwork.
• Fluency in English

Even better if you have, but not necessary:

• Knowledge of accounting systems (Netsuite a plus)
• Experience reporting under SOX
• Experience with publicly traded companies
• IFRS knowledge
• Experience with a fast pace company
