:Location: Downtown Vancouver, BCContract Duration: 3-Month ContractIndustry: ManufacturingOur client, a well-established company in the manufacturing industry, is currently seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join their team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to contribute to a dynamic organization while working in the heart of Downtown Vancouver.If you have extensive consolidation experience and thrive in a corporate environment, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and perform the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes, including consolidations across multiple entities.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, ASPE, or US GAAP).
• Analyze and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
• Assist in process improvements to streamline financial reporting and consolidation tasks.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and support to the senior management team as needed.

Requirements:Qualifications:

• CPA designation (or equivalent) is required.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong focus on consolidations.
• Advanced knowledge of consolidation accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software; experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across the organization.
