Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to join our team in North York, Ontario. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing account data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your expertise will directly contribute to the organization's financial integrity.Responsibilities:

• Perform account reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Analyze account balances and investigate discrepancies to identify and resolve errors.
• Prepare and review adjusting journal entries to maintain accurate financial statements.
• Conduct detailed account analysis to support financial reporting and audits.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve account discrepancies efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with established accounting standards and organizational policies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing necessary documentation.
• Provide insights and recommendations for improving accounting processes and controls.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in account analysis, reconciliation, and adjustments.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and tools for data analysis.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
