In accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values, and strategic directions of PHSA safety, including both patient and employee safety, is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at PHSA\xe2\x80\x99s Agencies/Divisions/Services, and as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position. The Corporate Accountant is responsible for providing financial administration, systems and subject matter expertise support to staff at all levels of the organization, including, senior executives, finance directors, finance and operational managers, program managers and Investigators in the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA), its\xe2\x80\x99 Agencies, Divisions, Services and associated Foundations. External communication includes contact with other health authorities, foundations, government ministries and agencies and external auditors to gather and exchange information. Decisions are made on the outcome of their work therefore completeness, accuracy and attention to detail is critical to ensure the efficient and timely flow of financial information to financial reports. The Corporate Accountant carries out this role demonstrating the organization\xe2\x80\x99s core values of patients first, best value, results matter, improvements through knowledge, and open to possibilities.
