ABOUT PARIAN LOGISTICS
Parian Logistics Inc, an affiliate of Stern Partners, owns a 28.6-acre property at 1530 Gamble Place in Winnipeg
that houses the head offices for Warehouse One Clothing and Ricki\xe2\x80\x99s Fashions, as well as the distribution
center for Warehouse One Clothing, Ricki\xe2\x80\x99s Fashions, Bootlegger Clothing and Cleo Fashions. Parian Logistics is
also home of the newly created National Shared Services business unit that supports the Retailing portfolio of
Stern Partner companies: Warehouse One, Urban Barn, Bootlegger, Ricki\xe2\x80\x99s, Cleo and Auld Phillips. The Shared
Services include Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, E-Commerce and Information Technology.

THE ROLE
We are hiring a professional and energetic Copywriter to join our growing team in our Winnipeg Head Office.
The Copywriter is a skillful storyteller, well versed in trending styles and creativity is in their DNA. They are a
passionate writer that thrives on finding the creative balance between conceptual storytelling and tactical
messaging that inspires and intrigues.
You will play a fundamental role in defining the brand story and consistently and effectively communicating it
across the company\xe2\x80\x99s business divisions for internal and external audiences.
You have a unique, creative voice with a strong knowledge of conversion tactics and you\xe2\x80\x99re ready to use it to
drive revenue through various digital channels.
As part of our creative team, you\xe2\x80\x99ll help create smart, beautiful, effective marketing content for various

This position is based out of the Gamble Place Home Office in Winnipeg, MB.

The Copywriter will be responsible for the following:

• Produce consistent, accurate and compelling copy.
• Write copy for in-store marketing collateral, seasonal look books and PR/event collateral, including press

releases and brand statements.

• Develop and optimize SEO text.
• Write all external email copy and subject lines.
• Work with our product team to create product descriptions that accurately convey our product

assortment.

• Write blog posts, video scripts and educational content.
• Work cross-functionally with various teams to ensure our brand identity flows through all internal and

external communications.

• Write ads for print publications, social channels, Google AdWords, and other types of display advertising.

• Passionate about storytelling and creating engaging content.
• Interested in fashion and trends.
• Positive and an outstanding communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects

on the go.

• Display a high level of ownership and initiative, but able to discern when to ask for guidance.
• Well-organized and detail oriented; you enjoy making plans, following through, and following up.
• Self-motivated and work well independently, but also comfortable collaborating and brainstorming as part

of a creative team.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 2+ years of progressive experience as a copywriter
• A degree or diploma in Communications, or a related field
• A portfolio showcasing your talent
• Ability to translate a brief into creative concepts and content
• SEO copywriting skills and proven experience
• A love of writing, storytelling and creative thinking
• Ability to write everything from sharp headlines to educational blog posts
