The Company

B2Gold is a responsible international senior gold producer headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Founded in 2007, today, B2Gold has operating gold mines in Mali, Namibia and the Philippines, the Goose Project under construction in northern Canada, and numerous development and exploration projects in various countries including Mali, Colombia and Finland.

Position

Coordinator, Site Services, Nunavut

Location and Reporting Structure

Reporting to the Superintendent, Site Services, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.

Responsibilities

Assist in creating, updating, and improving preventive maintenance plans and task lists to ensure effective planning and scheduling of work within need; Schedule maintenance work with internal teams and external contractors, ensuring minimal disruption to operations; Create work orders and purchase orders; track task progress, completion, and compliance with deadlines; Assist in the coordination and tracking of capital projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met; Organize and manage filing systems, databases, trackers, and documentation related to maintenance activities and employee equipment allocation; Support tracking of employee attendance, leave, and vacation schedules to aid in resource planning; Implement a labelling system and coordinate the transfer of items from warehouse to field, ensuring accurate inventory records; Prepare reports, memos, presentations, and other documentation to support the facilities and maintenance department; Act as a point of contact for clients, vendors, project teams, and internal staff, relaying maintenance plans and updates; and Assist with expense tracking, bookkeeping, and travel arrangements for site services staff, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Desired Competencies and Requirements

Three (3) years' experience in project administration, general facilities maintenance with exposure to Ancillary equipment. Prior work at a mine site and/or remote location with limited access to supplies and equipment is preferred; Previous experience with maintenance planning systems such as SAP; A High School diploma; and Ability to comprehend, read, write and converse in functional English to ensure safe working conditions on site.

Compensation and Benefits

For informational purposes, the estimated annual earnings are $95,082.00 for 2184 scheduled hours (combined regular hourly rate of $34.50 and overtime rate of $51.75 in a work year.
