The Site Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations at the Rook I Project Site to ensure site services run safely and efficiently across construction and operational phases. This role focuses on coordinating administrative, logistical, and technical tasks related to surface infrastructure, including the camp, accommodations, airstrip, kitchen, warehouse, and associated facilities. Reporting to the Site Services Manager, the position plays a vital role in documentation, contractor coordination, safety support, and cross-functional communication while upholding NexGen's values and operational standards.
LOCATION
This position will be based at the Rook I site on a 2 week in/2 week out schedule. NexGen's Rook I Project Site is located approximately 155km north of La Loche, Saskatchewan.
Accommodations and meals are provided while on rotation. Travel logistics to/from site are coordinated by NexGen.###
Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Promote a culture of health, safety, and environmental protection on the project by taking an active role in supporting the Contractor Safety Management (CSMP) to achieve compliance of NexGen HS&E standards, applicable OH&S Acts, regulations, and codes.
Oversee camp operations including accommodations, catering, and amenities.
Manage supply deliveries (water, fuel, utilities) and site maintenance (snow removal, waste management, road upkeep).
Assist in environmental requirements and collection of key reports and testing.
Coordinate with contractors, service providers, and internal teams to resolve operational issues.
Support QA/QC documentation and site progress tracking, including drone imagery.
Maintain accurate records, occupancy trackers, and prepare regular reports.
Participate in emergency preparedness drills and planning.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Minimum 3 years of experience in site services coordination, camp support services, or related administrative fieldwork.
Demonstrated familiarity with remote project sites and infrastructure operations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with drone software, scheduling tools, or SAP is considered an requirement.
Experience working with document control systems such as Aconex.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail in document tracking and reporting.
Basic understanding of safety programs and environmental compliance in industrial or mining environments.
Proven ability to prioritize and support teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
