Location: PAMA, 9 Wellington Street, Brampton

Hours of work: 35 hours per week

Who we are:

PAMA is an accessible, safe space for the diverse communities of Peel Region to come together and celebrate arts and culture. It\xe2\x80\x99s a place to explore and learn about Peel\'s culture and heritage, as well as use conversation, questions and stories to help make new and fascinating connections to the surrounding community. The site is made of historic buildings: the Peel County Courthouse and Jail, the former Registry Office, and the Modernist Building.

What you will do in this role:

Administration:

  • Coordinate PAMAs web, social media, graphic design, and video projects in collaboration with internal partners and external vendors
  • Coordinate, implement and evaluate marketing tactics
  • Provide suggestions for the Marketing Strategy to improve the reach of initiatives, visitor services and revenue streams at PAMA
  • Assist in developing annual plans for marketing program delivery, including advertising, distribution, social media, web, evaluation metrics, production schedules
  • Coordinate PAMA\xe2\x80\x99s advertising and media relations tactics
  • Coordinate production of seasonal and yearly marketing publications (digital and print)
  • Coordinate annual distribution plan for all PAMA marketing collateral (e.g., brochures, flyers, newsletters, post cards etc.) and refine as required
  • Coordinate and update email lists and communication plan for a variety of audiences
Digital - Web, Social Media, Video Projects:
  • Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly social media posts and stories
  • Coordinate social media events
  • Work with staff to create video content to share with diverse audiences
  • Responsible for coordinating web content with subject matter experts, web content review and scheduling web updates with internal partners
  • Create monthly e newsletters
Brand:
  • Ensure the PAMA brand is consistently incorporated and delivers the brand promise
Measurement and Evaluation:
  • Plan, organize, implement evaluation and measurement of tactics
  • Evaluate PAMA\xe2\x80\x99s marketing activities and implement improvements in process
Communications:
  • Create correspondence, reports, letters, ad copy, brochure copy, web content and PAMA Brand content for partner publications
  • Develop and maintain collaborative internal and external relationships with media, press, vendors, and related contacts
What the role requires:
  • A university degree or college diploma in marketing, digital marketing, advertising, or business administration combined with a minimum of three years of marketing experience in a cultural, non-profit, or corporate organization
  • Digital Marketing Certification is an asset
  • Combination of education and experience may be considered
Skills/Abilities:

Technical Skills:
  • Strong experience with digital media platforms and marketing
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, metrics, and measurement techniques
  • Excellent knowledge of and experience with media and advertising buys, sales promotion, and event marketing
  • Good knowledge in the areas of public relations and media relations
  • Excellent market research and analysis competencies
  • Good knowledge in the areas of public relations and media relations
  • Solid understanding of effective online writing techniques and fundamentals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook

Work Mode & Job Location:

In this role you will have the ability to work remotely and attend on-site when required based on operational requirements at the 9 Wellington Street, Brampton worksite. The frequency of on-site activities may vary on a weekly basis and based on operational requirements. Your remote work location must be located within the province of Ontario.

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week. Some evening and weekends are required.
