Pay Grade The annual salary range is $70,437- $112,872 (at 100% appointment) and is based on qualifications, experience, and the placement criteria of Article 14 of the NICFA Collective agreement.
Position SummaryThe Office Administration program (OA) has a vacancy for a Coordinator whose responsibility will be to act independently in routine administrative matters pertaining to the program.The Program Coordinator establishes policies, identifies and develops external contacts, provides day-to-day work leadership, and ensures departmental participation in the selection process. In addition, the Coordinator makes coordinators on vacations and short-term leaves of absence, advises students and the public regarding the nature and scope of the program area, participates in recruiting students, and supports quality assurance undertakings.The Coordinator is responsible for the Office Administration of online partner institutions and managing the day-to-day operations of the programs in consultation with the Dean, Faculty of Arts, Science & Management. The Online Program Coordinator is responsible for providing up-to-date information to potential OA students, including reviews of potential program waiver students. The Program Coordinator is responsible for developing policy, communication systems, workload planning, attending coordinator meetings with other partnership post-secondary institutions, and any other additional duties as required.

- Knowledge of and/or interest in human resource management practices
Duties & ResponsibilitiesA full description of duties can be found in Appendix A of the North Island College/North Island College Faculty Association collective agreement.
Required Education & Experience- A Bachelor\'s degree in a discipline relevant to Office Administration; a Masters\'s degree in an appropriate discipline is preferred;
- Provincial Instructors Diploma is preferred;
- Evidence of ongoing professional development in Office Administration is required;
- Minimum of three years of related online and face-to-face teaching experience at the post-secondary level is required;
- A minimum of three years of related experience in the field of office administration or office management is required;
- Experience in curriculum design and development is preferred.
Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities- Knowledge of technical experience with Brightspace (D2L LMS);
- Advanced level of knowledge and proficiency with computer applications in the context of best business practices;
- Demonstrated excellent instructional abilities, using a variety of creative and motivating approaches to stimulate learning within an online learning environment;
- Demonstrated commitment to student success;
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and efficiently meet deadlines;
- Demonstrated ability to work individually and cooperatively in a team environment with online faculty, coordinators, online student groups, employers and staff.
