The Role:
As a Coordinator, L&B Administration in PROLINK's Life and Benefits department, you'll provide administrative support to the Life and Group Benefits Administration Team and Life Account Executives. This is a 1-year contract role covering a maternity leave. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment. The Requirements:
The ideal candidate should meet many to most of the following requirements:
Education: High School Diploma.
Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative capacity, with basic bookkeeping abilities. Experience in an insurance brokerage or insurance company is an asset. Contracting and commission experience with MGAs.
Technical Skills: Strongly preferred:
o MS Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel;
Insurers' extranet and FASAT web re contract and compensation.
Soft Skills: A team player with a client-centric approach, ready to deliver great service. Comfort with managing multiple demands, with proven organizational, time-management and prioritization skills.
Attitude: A positive attitude with the flexibility to support the team with any ad-hoc needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform administrative duties in support of the Life and Benefits Division:
Providing support to the Director, Operations and the Vice President with any administrative support;
Servicing New Business & Inforce Business for Individual & Group Life & Group Benefits insurance;
Liaising between insurers and brokers including internal PROLINK Brokers, PROLINK Broker Network PBNet.ca with marketing, underwriting, claim and inforce policy change functions;
Updating all files, scanning files to a shared drive, and sending hard copies to brokers;
Tracking brokerage compensation for the Life and Benefits of PROLINK Insurance Inc.;
Implementing compliance procedures & periodically assisting in updating compliance manuals & procedures;
Assisting other team members with the daily/weekly mail distribution;
Managing and scheduling insurer and partner webinar schedules;
Managing online portal enrollments for 24-Hour Accident Protection Plan, and Life and Critical Illness including co-ordinating Bordereaux Reports to Accounting, and handling all client email and telephone interactions
Implementing procedures for Agent screening & monitoring;
Assisting in marketing and sales projects as requested;
