Purpose of the role:
The Coordinator, Finance will be expected to provide on-site administrative support to the Finance team. This position requires the successful candidate to work on-site, in the office, 5 days per week.
Key responsibilities:
The key responsibilities for this role are:Bank runs and cheque signings
Review online wire transactions before sending for approval
Backup for Trust Deposit postings
Distribution of mail within the department
Updates and organization of safekeeping vault
Various disbursement entries or vendor invoice reconciliations
Completing Audit Inquiry requests
Preparation of Law Society EFT forms
Entering cheques in CMS for Partners' payroll tax remittances
Communicating and coordinating with off-site staff to assist with in-office tasks
Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Key competencies:1-2 years of customer service and/or administration experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional telephone manner
Basic accounting skills
Strong knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
The expected salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000, depending on level of experience, region/location, and other factors.
