Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, Project Development and CI, the Continuous Improvement Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the site Continuous Improvement Plans and alignment to the Site Strategic Plans. This position is also accountable to promote and monitor the site Continuous Improvement Program health and project performance through key metrics and maintaining Nutrien\'s Continuous Improvement systems and processes.

This position is located at our Redwater, Alberta, Canada site and is not available for remote work.

What you will do:

• Ensure evaluation of Continuous Improvement projects within the site Strategic Plan align with 5 year plan submission working in conjunction with the site Decision Support Team
• Support CI Task Force Teams to drive leadership accountability and stewardship of Continuous Improvement / Annual Execution Plan & Redwater Long-Term Plan
• Maintain CI Project Hopper and work with CI Task Force teams to ensure new opportunities are prioritized
• Lead / coordinate various CI projects
• Track and report project performance through CI Reporting tools and key metrics
• Own Continuous Improvement Site communication and coordinate sharing successes
• Active participation and site representation on the Continuous Improvement Plan CIT
• Use, update and maintain Work Plan Manager (WPM) App for Redwater

What you will bring:

• Post secondary education in Engineering, Business or a related field
• 8+ years plant experience
• General understanding of Continuous Improvement methodologies and tools
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership and management capabilities - able to effectively communicate using various methods
• Excellent time management skills
• Knowledge of budgeting / long term planning processes
• Change management capabilities.

• Computer skills: Power BI, SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote, Teams etc..
