Job Description


RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Guide the development of compliance to support the monitoring of low carbon fuels regulations

- Be a expert including doing some market research to guide the decision

- Implement new regulations into operations

- Develop in depth understanding of current and future low carbon regulations in order to interpret and identify key concerns and impacts

- Follow the development of new policies and regulations in Canada, regarding low-carbon fuels or changes thereof

- Ensure key stakeholders understand the impacts of the regulations on business activities

- Develop documentation for internal stakeholders for reference or training purposes

- Devise and implement corrective actions in case of non-compliance or significant deviations to established procedures

- Develop procedures supporting Canadian compliance activities, as well as oversee controls to ensure their proper implementation

- Coordinate economic analyses, review financial models and/or simulations associated with regulatory projects and contract reviews

- Take a leading role in coordinating with the Reporting and Finance teams to ensure the proper execution of the low carbon compliance activities and the accuracy of regulatory filings

- Develop and analyze optimization, growth and cost reduction projects related to low carbon fuels for Canadian commercial operations.

QUALIFICATIONS :

- Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or engineering

- 4-9 years of relevant experience

- Bilingual - French and English (spoken and written)

- SAP - Excellent organization and time management skills

- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and forging a path forward

- Analytical skills.
