Role Overview: The Co-op Student will provide support to the finance department.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Update and reconcile the global cash balances and activities
• Assist with cash management and liquidity planning processes
• Support FX and gold trading activities
• Collaborate with banks on trade confirmations and settlements
• Coordinate and collect documents from departments for corporate development or financing;
• Responsible for assessing and maintaining the internal controls documentation
• Assist with accounting activities, month-end close, audit requests, and quarterly financial reports
• Assist with financial analysis, quarterly forecasting, and annual budgeting process
• Participate in projects and assignments as needed

Experience : 0 years: o Currently enrolled in post-secondary education in a Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics discipline
0 years: o Strong quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills with a clearly defined interest to work in finance
0 years: o A high demonstrated level of attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
