Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.?

What you'll be doing:?

• ??Identifying, analyzing, and testing key company controls and processes to ensure the Company is compliant with IFRS, OSFI, CLHIA, and other regulations including the implementation of new accounting standard
• ?Applying sound judgement to identify the root cause of deficiencies identified and assess their potential impact.
• ?Applying sound judgement and business knowledge to develop and recommend process improvements that remediate risk.
• ?Applying sound judgement to assess management remediation strategies and process improvements.
• ?Develop strong, positive relationships with audit customers.

What you'll bring:

• ??Currently enrolled in a Co-op post-secondary program focused on Business, Accounting, or Internal Audit, or have relevant experience for the position.
• ?Knowledge of business risk and financial controls.
• ?Knowledge of general accounting concepts, standards, and policies.
• ?Solid written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• ?Strong problem-solving aptitude, analytical skills, and proficiency in prioritization and critical thinking.
• ?Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
• ?Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. ?
