Are you ready to apply your knowledge in the real world? We are hiring an IT/Computer Science Co-op student for the summer term with our Energy Delivery Services team at our Sackville office.



During your time with us, you will gain exposure to what it's like to be part of our Energy Delivery Services team, whose objective is to exceed our customers' expectations in delivering reliable and cost-effective energy and services.


Key elements of this role include::
Developing Business Intelligence (BI) applications using Microsoft PowerApps Creating intermediate-level PowerApp dashboards for internal use Supporting self-serve users by answering questions and introducing them to PowerApps functionality Collaborating with business partners to build process templates and data inventory resources. Conducting testing of BI products as required Supporting ongoing improvements in data management and reporting systems
You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of co-workers, by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.



These skills will make you successful::

Working as a valued part of our Energy Delivery Scheduling team, you recognize yourself in most of the following competencies, and where possible possess the skills and experience listed below:

Currently enrolled in a co-op program and pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data/Information Management, or a related field Experience developing dashboards, ideally using Microsoft PowerApps and/or Tableau Knowledge of relational databases such as SQL, Oracle, or Azure Synapse, with the ability to write SQL queries and Python scripts Experience with BI application testing approaches and techniques is considered an asset Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with multiple and shifting priorities
