Full Time Yard Supervisor/Driver

Reporting to the Home Centre Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:

Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach To supervise department including coordination and delegation of duties Provide outstanding guest service in the yard and on the radio; load and unload merchandise and maintain cleanliness and order of merchandise in the yard Fill orders, receive freight, deliver and unload product, perform inventory counts Build positive relationships with the yard crew, desk and leadership teams Perform customer carry out service and product assembly as assigned Complete required paperwork based on department standards Practice and maintain safe procedures for the handling and stocking of merchandise Perform other duties as assigned in all areas of the Home Centre Embody our values of Honesty, Innovation, Responsibility and Respect

Who you are:

You have a grade 12 or equivalent experience; customer service experience is an asset You have experience and knowledge in the building materials industry; estimating and construction experience is an asset You are honest and trustworthy, are results- oriented, and strive to be the best in the work that you do You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision A valid class 3a license and experience would be an asset Must be willing to obtain forklift certification You have the ability to fulfil physical job requirements - Manual labour is required You have a flexible work schedule Our Lake Country Co-op team members receive competitive salaries, a comprehensive benefits package and an employer-contributed pension plan.
