Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part Time Clerk/Cashier at our C-Store and Gas Bar Location in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Shellbrook C-Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative's vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels
• Provide in-store service; serve guests, operate the point-of-sale system, stock shelves, face shelves, and perform general housekeeping duties
• Ensure a culture of safety while maximizing operational efficiency
• Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience
• Maintain a neat, clean and orderly location at all times
• Have a good working understanding of the point-of-sale system
• Receive, price and display merchandise as required as specified by the team leader
• Complete the necessary daily reconciliations and reports
• Support and follow the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies and procedures
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service:


• You're well organized, capable of attaining a high level of productions, with a minimum amount of supervision
• You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented, and strive to be the best in what you do
• You're attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills
• You have an ability to fulfill physical job requirements - standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly
• You have POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
• You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
• You must be willing to obtain WHMIS and propane dispensing certification
