We are looking to add a key team player to our busy local food market as soon as possible. The successful candidate will have a varied skillset, to help with the preparation of soups, sandwiches, baked goods and meals to go. Candidate will also be responsible for helping with receiving and processing new daily inventory shipments, including produce, seafood and dry goods. Cleaning tasks will also be a big part of the job, including but not limited to dishes, sweeping, mopping, etc. The ideal candidate will have other skills, such as retail grocery, warehousing, shipping, receiving. Qualifications: Kitchen & Cooking Experience is essential, Baking experience a definite asset, Customer Service, Cash, Order Taking, POS Experience are all assets. Culinary Training, Food Safe Certificate and first aid are all considered assets Wages Wages $14.50-$17.00 wages are commensurate with experience and positions hired for. Hours Part time to Full time hours 20-40 per week Currently Back East at Home is 6 days a week Monday through Saturday 10am-6pm, however hours and days of operation are subject to change due to business needs. 7 Days a week availability is required as we are moving to 7 days a week by spring.
