Under the direction of The Chef / Sous Chef the First Cook shall be responsible and accountable for a high quality food service for Residence Despins. (S)he shall be responsible for the production of gourmet meals presented and served with a flair of elegance. (S)he shall be responsible and accountable for compliance to legislative act(s), regulations, and standards governing food service operations. (S)he shall be responsible for the ordering, receiving and storage of food and supplies in the absence of The Chef / Sous Chef. Assumes the role of The Chef / Sous Chef in his/her absence.
