Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during busy periods. Contribute to menu planning by suggesting new dishes or improvements based on seasonal ingredients. Serve meals to guests, ensuring presentation meets the restaurant's standards.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment. Strong culinary skills with the ability to create diverse meal options. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous, particularly in high-volume settings. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in meal presentation. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being capable of working independently when required. A passion for food and a desire to continually improve culinary skills.
