Summary
Koto Sushi is seeking a skilled to join our team in Victoria. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering an extraordinary culinary experience by preparing high-quality sushi and providing excellent service to our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and serve sushi dishes according to traditional Japanese methods.
Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in all dishes.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Adhere to food safety standards and regulations at all times.
Assist with menu planning and development as needed.
Participate in training new staff members on food preparation techniques.
Qualifications
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, particularly in sushi or Japanese cuisine.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory.
