Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during peak hours. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality control. Participate in menu planning, offering suggestions for new dishes or improvements to existing ones. Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and cleaned regularly.

Experience

Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred, particularly in a restaurant setting. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for food handling is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to help others in the kitchen as needed.
