Overview

We are seeking a dedicated creative and passionate Cook to join our Kitchen, The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and handling, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety standards and regulations. Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients for various dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management. Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Participate in menu planning and development by providing input on seasonal dishes and specials.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food service or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices, including proper food handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that meet customer expectations. Must be Legally authorized to work in Canada
