We are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team as a . In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting the dietary department by assisting with meal preparation, food service, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities



Prepare, season, and cook a wide range of dishes including breakfast items such as eggs, omelettes, waffles, sausages, bacon and other morning dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards. Ensure timely preparation of breakfast orders, especially during peak morning hours. Maintain freshness, proper temperature and make sure food presentation, taste meet quality expectations. Monitor and rotate inventory, properly store all food items to prevent spoilage. Adapt recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions or customers' requests. Request food and kitchen supplies as needed. Operate kitchen equipment safely, including grills, fryers and oven. Follow all food safety, hygiene and sanitation procedures. Minimize waste and ensure cost-effective food usage.

Qualifications



Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred Experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings demonstrating strong culinary skills Knowledge of menu planning, food safety standards, and proper food handling procedures Familiarity with fine dining or catering environments is a plus Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Prior experience in the food industry or kitchen environment is advantageous

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.75-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
