Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and assisting in the overall food preparation process. Duties

Prepare ingredients for cooking by washing, chopping, and measuring food items. Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Follow all food safety protocols to ensure the highest quality of food handling. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Help with menu planning and development as needed.

Skills

Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to perform meal preparation tasks efficiently and accurately. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and presentation. Excellent communication skills to work effectively within a team. Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in the restaurant industry. A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to grow within the food industry.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
