Minimum 5-year culinary cooking experience as a Cook and minimum 2 preferably in Canadian/ western Food kitchen environment.
Certificate or Diploma from a recognized Culinary School.
Able to lift, carry and pull up to 50lbs and able to constantly stand and walk throughout shift
Able to withstand exposure to kitchen equipment includes large and small ovens, stoves, steam kettles, mixers, sheeter, fryers, rational ovens, steamers, tilt skillets, coolers and freezers.
Attention to detail, accuracy and consistency with recipes and portioning.
Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Able to maintain high service levels under pressure

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Prepare and cook all food items according to the recipes and standards.
Ensuring quality, and freshness, to all food items being prepped.
Have full knowledge of all menu items. Participate in the creation of new menu and recipes.
Receiving, and maintaining proper rotation of products in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilage using FIFO
Following all standards set in place by the Chef
Adhere to and follow HACCP health and safety protocols
Flexibility to work in any kitchen environment as per the schedule, operation and other duties as assigned
Prepare daily production of bulk, soup, stew, vegetables items according to the standard recipes
