Office hours are 9:30am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. (6 hr work days)
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Liaising with REALTORS to ensure accurate and complete documents are received for real estate transactions
File management and data entry using the Lone Wolf System
Calculating/checking REALTORS commission figures on TRS
Creating accurate sales reports
Recording buyers' cheques/drafts
Sending documentation/conveyance reports to relevant lawyers/other brokers
Issuing excess deposit cheques and other broker cheques from Trust Accounts
Entering cheques received from lawyers/other brokers on completion (includes pickup/drop off at office)
Book keeping knowledge an asset
Finalizing files on completion for commission payouts
Completing Commission payroll payouts for REALTORS using EFT (Electronic File Transfers)
Ensuring the proper Council forms and FINTRAC/CREA forms are received
Perform other duties where required
Document control and file maintenance
Handle confidential information
The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications and behaviors:
- Conveyancing and contract experience preferred
- Computer knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc)
- Enthusiastic, outgoing and welcoming personality
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills
- Focused and detail oriented
- Self-starter, proactive, reliable and can work independently
