Job responsibilities:

*Running the cash register, lottery terminal and debit machines

*Balancing the cash register daily

*Problem solving

*Selling lottery, tobacco, alcohol, prepared foods and groceries

*Checking I.D and verifying the legal age for the sale of tobacco, alcohol and lottery

*Pricing, stocking and merchandising

*Maintenance and daily cleaning

*Loss and fraud prevention

- dealing with shoplifters, and preventing fraud through knowledge of counterfeit bills and lottery scams

*Selling food items and keeping a sanitary environment

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

*hiring age 19+

*Valid Smart Serve certification

*Minimum 1 year cashier and stocking experience in a local setting

*High school diploma or equivalent

*Sociable and friendly

*Able to lift and move 35lbs

*Comfortable climbing a ladder for any purposes related to running the store

*Available to work evening and night shifts from Monday - Sunday from 3PM-4AM.
