We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of our retail store. As the Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing inventory, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Duties
Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service.
Oversee daily store operations, including merchandising, pricing, and inventory management.
Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase store visibility and sales.
Manage payroll, budgeting, and financial reporting to ensure profitability.
Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Supervise cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
Maintain high standards of store presentation and cleanliness.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Monitor sales performance and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications
Proven experience in retail management or a similar role with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence others effectively.
Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for enhancing customer interactions.
Experience in recruiting, training & development, and team management.
Proficient in retail sales techniques, merchandising strategies, POS systems, Atlantic lottery, and cash handling procedures.
Excellent communication skills with strong organizational abilities.
Familiarity with budgeting, bookkeeping, administrative tasks, and time management principles.
Ability to perform basic math calculations for pricing and inventory management.
