Harmonized Energy Inc. (HEI) is a growing building automation and controls company specializing in Reliable Controls systems across commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities.
We are building HEI to scale beyond owner-dependence and are looking for a Controls Design Lead who can own graphics, programming, shop drawings, and technical design.
This is a hands-on senior role for someone who wants real ownership, clean standards, and long-term upside.
What You'll Do
Controls Design & Programming
Develop Reliable Controls programs (MP-V, MPW-C, Mach-Pro)
Build and tune PID loops, schedules, safeties
Deliver commissioning-ready logic
Graphics Development
Build professional, client-ready graphics in RC Studio
Create reusable templates and navigation standards
Configure alarms, trends, and schedules
Shop Drawings & Documentation
Create point lists, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
Design BAS network architecture (BACnet/IP, MSTP)
Produce clean close-out documentation
Quoting & Technical Support
Support estimating with:
I/O counts
Panel selection
Hardware takeoffs
Licensing
Help prevent scope gaps and rework
Standards & Mentorship
Establish programming and graphics standards
Mentor junior technicians
Improve consistency across projects
What We're Looking For
Required
3+ years hands-on experience with Reliable Controls
Strong RC Studio programming and graphics skills
Experience producing BAS shop drawings
Solid understanding of HVAC sequences and PID control
Not a fit if
You're junior or still learning controls
You only install hardware
You need heavy supervision
