We're looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Contractor Sales Associate to join our team! This key role ensures outstanding service to contractors and retail customers by applying strong product knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a passion for helping people complete their construction projects. Whether assisting in-store or over the phone, you'll deliver personalized service, accurate information, and tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in person or by phone with product selection and project planning.

Use inquiry and listening skills to understand the customer's needs and project scope.

Recommend products, explain features and benefits, suggest add-ons, and offer installation options when applicable.

Manage and process special orders, including gathering specifications and coordinating with vendors for pricing and availability.

Assist with quoting and estimating contractor projects.

Complete transactions (cash, credit, debit).

Ensure customers find everything they need to complete their projects successfully.

Provide timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries or issues.

Maintain knowledge of in-stock inventory and product applications.

Keep the work area organized and contribute to an efficient retail environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma.

Prior retail or customer service experience is considered an asset.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Solid organizational and time management abilities.

Strong math and problem-solving skills.

Friendly, professional attitude with a commitment to excellent customer service.

Willingness to learn and grow within the industry.

Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail.

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift Day shift Overtime Weekends as needed
Work Location: In person
