The Opportunity

We're looking for a

Contractor Sales Admin

to support our contractor sales team and help deliver a smooth, professional experience for our contractor customers, from first quote to final delivery.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, service oriented, and thrives in a fast paced environment where details matter and relationships count.

You'll be the backbone of the contractor sales process. Keeping quotes, orders, and communication organized while working closely with sales, warehouse, logistics, and suppliers.

What You'll Be Responsible For

Contractor Customer Support

Greet and assist walk-in contractor customers in a professional and welcoming manner Serve as a key point of contact by phone, email, and in person Gather job details, drawings, measurements, and product requirements Provide updates on pricing, orders, deliveries, and timelines

Quotes & Pricing Support

Set up and maintain quote files in the CRM Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and sales documentation Ensure pricing accuracy using current systems and supplier updates Track follow-ups and contractor decision timelines

Order Processing & Coordination

Convert approved quotes into confirmed orders Verify quantities, pricing, discounts, and taxes Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers, warehouse, and logistics Track backorders and resolve discrepancies with the sales team

Administration & Pipeline Management

Maintain accurate CRM and customer records Track active quotes and sold orders to ensure nothing falls through the cracks Communicate clearly with contractors and internal teams Support sales initiatives and new product promotions

Organization, Reporting & Team Support

Prepare weekly updates on quotes and sold orders Maintain organized digital and physical files Support process improvements and special projects Model Targetts' CORE values in all interactions

What We're Looking For

Experience & Education

Experience in sales support, administration, or customer service Building supply, construction, or retail experience is an asset Comfortable working with CRM systems and office software

Skills & Attributes

Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organization and time management Professional, friendly, and confident communicator Calm, solutions-focused, and reliable under pressure Enjoys working with contractors and internal teams
