We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Contract Specialist
who is fluent in both
Mandarin and English
for a
one-year, full-time contractual position
. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the EPC or EPCM industry and a strong grasp of both commercial and contractual processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Integrate supply chain constraints into project schedules, ensuring accurate planning and execution.
Manage and lead the procurement process for critical purchase orders and contracts, including complex and high-value packages.
Develop commercial assessments and prepare purchase orders and contract documents.
Collaborate closely with engineering and construction teams to align procurement activities with project milestones.
Safeguard company interests by negotiating terms and conditions that align with project and business objectives.
Lead contract initiation meetings and oversee contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
Verify invoice accuracy by cross-referencing with approved LEMs and process payments accordingly.
Maintain a current and detailed procurement status report for internal and client-facing updates.
Contribute to financial forecasting by preparing accruals and justifying budget changes when needed.
Manage contract closure and ensure all documentation is in place for future reference or claims.
Build and maintain positive contractor relationships, supporting effective communication and negotiation.
Work with internal teams to identify and resolve inefficiencies in the supply chain process.
Support contractor qualification and selection by conducting evaluations and offering recommendations.
Qualifications:
A degree in
Supply Chain Management, Business, or Engineering
.
5+ years of experience
in a Contract Specialist role within an EPC or EPCM environment.
Proven ability to manage and negotiate high-stakes, technically complex contracts under various pricing structures (lump sum, reimbursable, etc.).
Bilingual proficiency in
English and Mandarin
is
mandatory
.
Strong knowledge in contract administration, claims handling, and early dispute resolution.
Able to effectively prioritize and manage tasks within dynamic project schedules.
Collaborative, team-oriented mindset focused on shared project success.
Comfortable using business systems and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Skilled in both commercial negotiation and contract execution.
