What are your contributions to the team?
Be responsible for the entire operations of the Global Completion Center (GCC) while assuring the alignment of the organization within the philosophy of the Achieving Excellence System (AES).
Coordinate the different production departments and functions such as Engineering, Methods, Quality, Procurement and Logistics, which assure the support to production.
Coordinate strategic initiatives as well as cost reduction initiatives.
Develop and implement regular reviews and governance with Management to ensure harmonization in line with the strategy and the plant\xe2\x80\x99s needs..
Participate in the preparation of the production planning calendars and make the link with the departments concerned.
Develop tools to analyze performance and implement the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) required to ensure the best performance possible.
Make sure to maintain contact with all the sites involved in the Global Aircraft Program (St-Laurent Plant, Administrative Center, etc.).
Work toward a healthy management of human resources (unionized and salaried employees) at all levels (Environment, Health and Safety, recruitment, development of competencies, performance gaps, disciplinary measures, etc.).
Assure the continuous improvement of processes, mainly by using problem solving tools.
Maintain a harmonious relationship with union representatives.
How to thrive in this role?
You have a college degree in aerospace, engineering or in operations management or significant experience which has allowed you to develop strong management skills.
You have more than ten years of experience in operations management in a unionized manufacturing environment, ideally in the aerospace sector.
You have demonstrated your influence abilities in several multifunctional projects and have strong management, leadership and interpersonal relations skills.
You are familiar with the lean manufacturing principles.
You are recognized as being a good communicator with the ability to mobilize your employees.
You are results driven and have excellent organizational skills as well as priority management.
You are bilingual French-English, both spoken and written.
