Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, HR Business Services, the Contract, HR Analyst is responsible for providing data-driven insights and reporting to support HR business services, including talent acquisition, onboarding, job design, succession planning, career management, and employee labour relations. This role ensures accurate and timely analysis of trends, program effectiveness, and compliance metrics to inform strategic decisions and enhance service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:






Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data related to talent programs, labour relations, absenteeism, performance, and collective bargaining support. Design and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs for HR Business Services, including talent acquisition metrics, onboarding effectiveness, and ELR case trends. Support implementation, testing, and optimization of HR systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, ELR systems) for reporting and analytics. Provide ad-hoc analysis to support negotiations, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent initiatives. Ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational policies, collective agreements, and legislative requirements. Contribute to departmental projects by providing analytics and reporting expertise. Actively supports team in delivering quality solutions to meet or exceed business goals; continually improve existing reporting processes.



REQUIREMENTS:






Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Human Resources and/or an undergraduate degree with post graduate studies in Human Resources One (1) to Three (3) years of progressive experience in Human Resources with a specific focus on reporting, data management and analysis strongly preferred CHRP/CHRL (Certified Human Resources Professional/Leader) is an asset. Knowledge of HR programs, employee labour relations processes, and talent management practices within a unionized environment preferred Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resources systems and organizational performance management methodologies (i.e., MCRS). Strong proficiency in HRIS systems (for e.g.: SuccessFactors) and data visualization tools. Excellent computer skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint); ability to build and automate reports and use statistical methodologies for tracking performance or building models. Experience in compiling and presenting reports Excellent problem solving and analytical skills; must be detail-oriented

This position is based in a hybrid environment allowing for remote work two days per week, based on business needs. Employees will be required to come onsite Tuesday to Thursday. You are expected to live in Ontario and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
