Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. The Cleaner will work independently and as part of a team, utilizing both hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.

Duties

Perform custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas. Conduct commercial cleaning tasks such as sanitizing restrooms, kitchens, and common areas. Utilize power tools and hand tools for maintenance and repair tasks as required. Manage time effectively to complete cleaning assignments within scheduled hours. Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding cleaning schedules and any maintenance issues. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the overall upkeep of the premises. Respond to customer service inquiries related to cleanliness and maintenance in a professional manner. Follow safety protocols while handling cleaning supplies and equipment.

Requirements

Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred but not mandatory. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by specific cleaning tasks. Familiarity with power tools and hand tools is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in all work areas. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

4 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Monday to Friday Morning shift Night shift Weekends as needed
