Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Contract Bookkeeper
to manage all aspects of our financial processes. This hybrid position requires someone with extensive bookkeeping experience for a not-for-profit and expertise in transitioning QuickBooks from Desktop to Online.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the integration of QuickBooks from Desktop to Online, ensuring a seamless transition.
Handle all Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions.
Prepare and submit all government filings, including taxes, remittances, and compliance documents.
Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts in preparation for a yearly audit.
Generate financial reports for management as required.
Ensure all bookkeeping practices comply with current regulations and standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, with expertise in QuickBooks Desktop and Online.
Demonstrated ability to manage AR, AP, and government filings with precision.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
Knowledge of Canadian tax laws and compliance requirements (if applicable).
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
