Cardinal Health Canada, with over 1,300 employees nationwide, is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country.We are currently seeking a Bilingual Recruiter to add to our team on 12-month contract for our Dorval/Atlantic and Western Canada region. Talent Acquisition is responsible for sourcing, assessing, and driving the selection of talent to support business needs.What Talent Acquisition contributes to Cardinal Health
Human Resources designs, implements and delivers human resource programs and policies, including recruitment, talent management, diversity and inclusion, compensation and benefits, among others. This function anticipates and plans for long-term human resource needs in alignment with business strategies.Talent Acquisition attracts, identifies and acquires skilled labor to support business needs and develops strategies for growing the organization\'s talent pool. Talent Acquisition team evaluates and screens talent using skills assessments, testing and reference checking, and manages internal and external job advertising and posting. Talent Acquisition team also manages relationships with third party recruiting agencies, prospects talent at employment fairs and on campus at educational institutions and manages new employee induction.ResponsibilitiesExecute full life cycle searches for manager level and below positions to include: developing the search strategy, sourcing (including but not limited to proactive networking, internet searching, cold calling, resume mining, database searching, etc.), pre-screening and interviewing candidates to attract to the organization, develop and present recommendations on qualified candidates to hiring managers/internal clients, and offer design and negotiationProactively organize and participate in job fairs, both onsite and offsite, to drive diverse talent poolEngage with community partners, universities, and collegesProactively pipeline talent including designing, building and maintaining a strong and diverse network of potential candidates and utilize local and community resourcesGather competitive data, industry trends, and labor market conditions and translate these to successful search strategiesAssesses candidates through competency-based screening, ensuring only qualified candidates are referredPersuasively sell organization, role, and local area to candidatesCreate positive candidate experience through problem-resolution, immediate response to candidate\'s needs, and delivery of exceptional service to candidateQualificationsBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred4+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in related field, preferredMinimum 2 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years recruiting experience in agency or corporate environment highly desiredBilingualism (French & English) requiredExperience recruiting for operations, distribution centers, or manufacturing facilities and high volume recruiting strongly preferredAbility to successfully close passive candidatesExcellent client relationship skills, communicates proactively and consistently with hiring managers and candidatesAbility to work autonomously on ad hoc projectsCertified Internet Recruiter (CIR), preferredOnsite presence is required once per week (Dorval distribution center)What is expected of you and others at this levelApplies comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projectsMay contribute to the development of policies and proceduresWorks on complex projects of large scopeDevelops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectivesCompletes work independently; receives general guidance on new projectsWork reviewed for purpose of meeting objectivesMay act as a mentor to less experienced colleaguesCardinal Health is committed to employment equity and encourages applications from women, visible minorities, indigenous peoples and persons with disabilities.Cardinal Health is committed to accommodating applicants with disabilities throughout the hiring process, in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
