Continuous Improvement Technician - Bolton Pet Plant

We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a Continuous Improvement Technician who will be responsible for multiple areas of the factory which will consist primarily of identifying and executing continuous process improvement projects.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor\'s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent preferred

Continuous improvement experience & leadership in manufacturing preferred

Knowledge & experience of MSE (TPM) methodology

Problem Solving experience & success

Project Management skills

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt Certification preferred

Good understanding of Safety and Quality Management System requirements and processes, within food or pharmaceutical manufacturing operations is required

Ideally, you\xe2\x80\x99ll have 1-3 years experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods Manufacturing

What will be your key responsibilities?

Actively participates in daily FMOS meetings. Provides data for selected machines and communicates action plans and completed work effectively.

Viewed as MSE/TPM/CIL/CL expert of related equipment and is willing to discuss, coach and train on this equipment.

Owns production related continuous improvement project pipeline.

Makes logical decisions based on quantitative and qualitative analysis.

Facilitates the Line Loss Analysis to drive OEE improvements.

Facilitates SMED events and implements corresponding actions to drive OEE improvement

Drive continuous improvement of equipment reliability, quality, and performance.

Support defect eliminations through thorough root cause investigations and escalation where required.

Completing required paperwork related to safety and quality.
